<P>In this study, the optimal conditions of ZnS thin film were determined by adjusting the amount of sodium citrate added to the ZnS thin film. The heat treatment of ZnS thin film was conducted using Rapid Thermal Processing (RTP). The morphology of the grown ZnS thin film was examined using Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FE-SEM). The measurement was carried out using Ultraviolet-Visible (UV/VIS) Spectroscopy and the light penetration was measured at 300 similar to 800 nm using a tungsten lamp. When the concentration of the sodium citrate was 0.4 M and greater, the cracking phenomenon of the ZnS thin film was reduced and a high quality thin film was produced.</P>
