시각자료를 활용한 음악 감상교육에 관한 연구 : 그리그 페르귄트 모음곡을 중심으로 = A Study of Music Appreciational Teaching Method Using Visual Materials-Centered Grieg's 'Peer Gynt Suites'-

The components paradigm of the 7th music curriculum is divided into two parts, concepts and activities. Concepts part include rhythm, melody, harmony, texture, dynamics, tempo, tone-color, the other one does 'singing songs', 'playing instruments', 'composition', 'appreciation'. Futhermore, the aim of the 7th music curriculum is that making students be getting more sensitive musically through adoption various musical works and activities. On teaching-learning process, however, the various methodical dimension has been deficient and it has been being connected difficulty the accomplishment of goals practically. By doing so, this study offers a teaching-learning model can be used in music appreciation among musical activities.
The main material of this study is Grieg's 'Peer Gynt Suites', researcher extracted musical concepts in each suits which appropriate on teaching in music classes according to curriculum, and presented a teaching model using visual materials centered integration of musical concepts and activities
For this study, researcher, based on theoretical reviews and comparisons of various perspectives, studied 'the meaning of music appreciation in music education', 'music conceptual understanding', 'music teachers' role and students' duty in music appreciation classes', subsequently presented the meaning of visual materials, the practical values of that, and characters of 5 stages of the teaching model.
Practical teaching methods adopting visual materials has developed in this study, connected the learning concepts of 9th grade in music curriculum to Grieg's 'Peer Gynt' as shown that above. This research, along with, has been presented teaching methods bellowing. 'Morgenstimmung' was connected to 'the modes of dynamics', 'Ages Tod' and 'funeral march in rhythm', 'Anitras Tanz' and 'musical texture' related to Arabian, Korean dance based on different culture, and 'In der Halle des Bergoenigs' 'and 'tempo expression' . Also offered 'Bruderovet - Ingrids Klage' was connected to 'the changes of different melody lines', 'Peer Gynts Heimkehr' and 'the changes of harmony in theme parts', and last, 'Solevjgs Lied' and 'various tone-color' reviewing lyrics of Solevjgs' solo part.
This study was started that teaching-learning process in music classes has not been desirable on dimension to various works and activities and thus, researcher considered musical appreciation using visual teaching materials particularly, and presented advisable teaching model for helping understanding musical concepts in music works. Rather, it should be studied teaching methods enhancing student's sensitivity through activities and works.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

제 7차 음악과 교육과정에서의 내용체계는 이해와 활동의 두 영역으로 구분되어진다. 이해는 리듬 · 가락 · 화성 · 형식 · 셈여림 · 빠르기 · 음색으로, 활동은 가창 · 기악 · 창작 · 감상으로 나뉜다. 또한 교육과정의 음악과 목표는 ‘다양한 악곡과 음악활동을 통하여 음악성과 창의성을 기르고, 음악적 정서를 풍부하게 하는 것’이다. 하지만, 실제 교수-학습 과정에서는 방법적 측면의 다양성이 결여되다보니 결과적으로 목표 도달에 어려움이 있어 다양한 음악활동의 하나로 감상활동의 필요성을 느끼게 되었다.
본 연구의 제재곡은 그리그 ‘페르귄트 모음곡’으로, 모음곡의 각장에서 제 7차 음악과 교육과정 이해영역의 음악적 개념을 추출하였고, 음악적 개념과 다양한 활동의 통합에 초점을 두어 시각자료를 활용한 지도 방법을 제시하였다.
이를 위하여 연구자는 이론적 배경에서 ‘음악교육에서의 감상의 의미’와 ‘음악의 지적 이해’, ‘음악 감상수업에서 음악교사의 역할과 이에 대응하는 학생의 역할’을 세 가지의 관점으로 살펴보았다. 다음으로, 선행연구를 통해 구안한 전체 지도안의 5단계 모형에 대한 단계별 특징을 살펴보았고, 본 연구에서 활용한 시각자료의 의미와 그 활용가치에 대해서 제시하였다.
시각자료를 활용한 음악 감상교육에 관한 연구의 실제부분에서는 중학교 3학년 교육과정의 이해영역과 그리그 ‘페르귄트 모음곡’의 특징을 연결지어 지도안을 작성하였다. 그 내용을 보면 제 1 모음곡 ‘아침의 기분’ 에서는 셈여림을 곡 전체의 흐름과 연관지었고, ‘오제의 죽음’ 에서는 리듬을 장송행진곡의 특징과 연결지어 살펴보았다. ‘아니트라의 춤’과 ‘아라비아의 춤’을 묶어 형식을 아라비아의 음악적 특징과 연관지었고, 우리나라 춤과 아라비아의 춤에 관한 시각자료를 제시하여 다른 문화권을 이해할 수 있도록 하였다. ‘산신의 전당에서’는 빠르기를 그림악보를 활용하여 이해하고, 악곡의 빠르기말을 표로 제시하였다. ‘신부의 약탈과 잉그리드의 탄식’ 에서는 가락을 두 부분의 다른 곡의 내용에 따라 가락선의 흐름이 어떻게 변화하고 있는지 살펴보았다. ‘페르귄트의 귀향’ 에서는 화음을 거센 폭풍우를 표현한 주제부분의 화성부분이 어떻게 변화되고 있는지 살펴보았고, ‘솔베이그의 노래’에서는 음색을 솔베이그 독창가사를 살펴보면서 솔베이그의 마음을 상상해보고 여러 다른 목소리로 감상 할 수 있도록 하였다.
본 연구는 실제 음악 감상수업이 현장에서 다양한 악곡과 음악활동이 이루어지지 않는 점을 감안하여, 시각자료를 활용하여 효율적인 감상수업의 유형을 제시하였다. 앞으로도 여러 제재 곡의 음악 구성요소의 이해를 돕기 위해서 여러 다양한 방법들에 대한 연구가 계속적으로 이루어져야 할 것이다.
