소아 정신장애의 개념

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The author reviewed literatures on disorders usually first evident in infancy and childhood in terms of concept, epidemiology, etiology, classification, clinical features, diagnosis, treatment and prognosis. And special disorders which bring children to the attention of child psychiatrists - autistic disorder, attention deficit hyperactivty disorder and Tourette's disorder-were described in this parer. Child psychiatry differs from general psychiatry in being concerned with a developing organism. Childhood is recognized in psychiatry as a period of vulnerability and progressive development toward adult personality and character. A wider understanding of child development now throws a clearer light on deviations from the normal pattern; knowledge of the nature and causes of psychiatric disorders in childhood is steadily increasing; new and effective methods of treatment are evolving :and clinical and education services for children with mental disorders are growing in scope and sophistication.
