This study was undertaken to discuss the awareness pattern of canoeists. A total of 137 canoeists served as subjects. The implications of the study are as follows:

This study was undertaken to discuss the awareness pattern of canoeists. A total of 137 canoeists served as subjects. The implications of the study are as follows:
1. 49.6% of the canoeists participated in canoeing by their teachers' recommendation. 48.6% of female kayak canoeists participated in their motor skills. 51.8% of the canoeists were satisfied with their athletic careers, while 42.1% of them preferred other events to canoeing, if they should be given a chance to participate in events again.
2. 40.9% of them adjusted effectively to their school and/or team life. 53.3% fo them considered themselves to be important beings. 61.2% of them regarded the training facilities as safe ones.
3. 66.4% of them gained full support from their family members. 76.6% enjoyed happy family lives. 46.0% of them thought their family as middle-class status.
4. 35.8%of them made friends of sportsmen. 86.8% maintained a good human relations with their friends. 71.5% of them obtained the support from their friends.
5. After victory, 53.3% colled their parents first to mind. 51.1% took deep breathing exercises to reduce their tensions. 60.6% thought mental power as a crucial factor for victory.
6. 65.0% of them took their Leaders and/or trainers to be well treated liberally. 56.2% of them wanted to be trainers and leaders after their retirement, 36.4% of whom wanted to get theoretical background in physical education and sports.
7. 45.2% of them preferred athletes as their spouses. 53.3% wanted their children to be canoiest, if they should have pofentiality.
