The more works will be added than now. The works made by ecological imagination had more interest in the present and future than the past and present of Korean living. In this standpoint, ecological novel advanced from realistic novel. Ecological novel advanced from modernist fiction because of embodiment of development, service, the logic of community. In the end, ecological idea can be an alternative plan or outlet to realism or modernism. Realism and modernism met at the ecological idea.
