중국 국제관계학계의 변화와 발전에 관한 연구:학술 논의와 정책연계를 중심으로 = A Study on the Change and Development of International Relations Academia in China: Focusing on Academic Discussion and Policy Linkage

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper studies the theoretical discussion and academic development process within China's international relations academia based on China’s rise in national power. In particular, it analyzes how academic discussions in academia relate to government policy. To this end, a method of reviewing literature data, interviewing experts, and searching for subject words was conducted. As a result of the study, theoretical discussions based on traditional Chinese ideas are still the main research topic in the Chinese international relations academia, but there are different opinions among scholars on the formation of the Chinese school. Since the inauguration of the Xi jinping administration, more studies have been conducted to support the legitimacy and justification of the Chinese government’s policies than theoretical studies. However, China’s international relations community continues to make efforts to research theory and establish a Chinese school, such as securing new research topics and driving methodology. Therefore, Korea should expand exchanges with Chinese scholars, collect and analyze research results, and use them for academic development and effective policy response.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문은 중국의 국력 상승에 기초한 중국 국제관계학계 내부의 이론 논의와 학계 발전과정을 연구한다. 특히, 학계의 학술 논의가 정부 정책과 어떤 연계성을 갖는지 천하체계와 인류운명공동체의 사례를 중심으로 분석한다. 이를 위해 문헌 자료 검토, 전문가 인터뷰, 주제어 검색의 방법을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 중국 국제관계학계는 중국 전통 사상에 기초한 이론적 논의가 여전히 주요한 연구 주제이지만, 중국학파 형성에는 학자들 사이에 서로 다른 의견이 존재하고 있다. 또한, 시진핑 정부 들어서면서부터 이론 연구보다 중국 정부의 정책의 정당성과 당위성을 뒷받침하는 연구가 더욱 많아지면서 연계성을 확인할 수 있었다. 하지만, 새로운 연구 주제의 확보와 방법론의 추동 등 중국 국제관계학계에서는 이론 연구와 중국학파 성립을 위한 노력을 지속하고 있다. 따라서, 한국은 중국의 학자들과 교류를 확대하고, 내부 논의와 연구 결과를 수집, 분석하여 학술 발전과 효과적인 정책 대응에 활용해야 할 것을 주장하였다.
