Feuerstein의 인지발달 중재프로그램 개관

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본고에서는 역동적 지능관에 바탕을 둔 대표적인 인지발달 중재프로그램의 하나인 Feuerstein의 중재프로그램(Feuerstein Instrumental Enrichment: FIE)을 살펴보고자 하였다. 교육심리학자인 Reuven Feuerstein(1979)은 모든 인간은 자신을 변형시킬 수 있는 독특한 특성을 지니고 있으므로, 부족한 인지적 기능은 적절한 중재를 통해 언제든 보상이 가능하다는 구조적 인지수정이론(Structural Cognitive Modifiability)을 주장하였다. Piaget의 인지발달이론, Vygotsky의 인지이론 및 정보처리이론과 대비되는 FIE 프로그램은 만 3세에서 성인까지 적용할 수 있는 다양한 중재도구를 매체로 하는 인지발달 중재프로그램이다. Feuerstein의 구조적 인지수정이론을 살펴보고, 응용프로그램(LPAD, IE 도구: Standard, Basic)을 소개하고 장애인, 일반인 그리고 작업현장에 있는 사람들에게 사용하는 현황을 개관하였다.
