The Korean Veterans Association(KVA) is an organization dedicated to the soldiers who have devoted themselves to national security and the safety of the people. It plays a crucial role in protecting their rights and supporting their smooth reintegration into society. KVA should serve as a strong supporter and supporter of strong security as the second bastion of national security in the military's role as the first bastion of national security on the front line. However, the recent financial crisis faced by KVA has become a hindrance to fulfilling its essential roles. Financial stability is a crucial factor for individuals, families, societies, and nations to support various activities, and its importance is emphasized more than ever in today's society.
To strengthen the role of KVA, financial stability is paramount, along with institutional improvements. It is necessary to expand legal and financial support through cooperation with the government and the National Assembly and to broaden the scope of the KVA's activities. Additionally, cooperation with the private sector is essential for KVA's development. Partnerships with private companies can provide diverse employment opportunities for discharged soldiers and utilize private resources for various programs organized by KVA.
To ensure the stability of KVA, it is necessary to examine the operation of veterans associations in major countries, analyze the current situation of the Association, and seek development plans. Expanding international exchanges is also an important strategy for the Association's growth. By exchanging experiences and know-how with reserve organizations from other countries and building a global cooperation network, it is time for KVA to take a new leap forward.
On the occasion of the 72nd anniversary of KVA's founding, we should support KVA's transformation with the active support of its members, the government, and the National Assembly so that KVA can make a fresh start. KVA is a crucial pillar in protecting the liberal democracy of South Korea. We look forward to the continuous development of KVA through government budget support and the active review of the membership fee system to ensure stable operations.
