The purpose of this study is to propose the direction for managing players effectively and enhancing their performance for a takwondo leader to achieve team's goal by finding out the effect of taekwondo leader's type of leadership and confidence on players' concentration. We have drawn the following conclusion through the study. First, There was partly a significant difference in a leader's leadership and confidence and player's
concentration in accordance with takwondo players' demographic characteristic. In terms of sex, a behavioral
pattern of training and instruction and an authoritative behavioral pattern made a significant difference.
According to a leader's considerate support behavior and an ability in school year, to an ability in leader's
confidence, to a cognitive commitment in player's concentration and to a sincerity and an ability in
sport career, we could verify significant differences. Second, There was a significant correlation in a leader's behavioral pattern of training and instruction, a democratic behavioral pattern, an authoritative behavioral pattern, a cognitive commitment and a ehavioral commitment. Meanwhile, in a democratic behavioral pattern, an authoritative behavioral pattern, a cognitive commitment and a behavioral commitment, in an authoritative behavioral pattern, a cognitive commitment and a behavioral commitment, and in a cognitive commitment, a behavioral commitment, a sincerity and an ability, we could verify significant correlations.
Third, It proved that player's concentration is influenced by a behavioral pattern of training and instruction,
a democratic behavioral pattern, and an authoritaive behavioral pattern, which are the sub-factors of
leaders' leadership. This conclusion shows that a leader's leadership and confidence are very crucial factors when it comes to takwondo players concentrating on the game and maintaining their best game handling ability in
the competition. Therefore, there is a need for developing various programs and applying them with
taking interest in and caring for takwondo players.
