High Line Park is a well-known foreign case resident-participating urban regeneration led by the civic group Friends of High Line(FHL). Similarly Seoullo7017 is a case of domestic resident-participating urban regeneration that was inspired by High Line Park. To compare these two cases from the perspective of resident participation, the analysis was focused on primary objectives, activities, and governance relationship involved in the process. In particular, the governance subject was specified, and the relationship between the subjects and the role of the intermediate organization were mainly confirmed. Additionally, by comparing the specific differences between High Line Park and Seoullo7017, it present the long-term development strategy for practical resident-participating urban regeneration.
