      The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of social capital on exercise commitment and adherence of university badminton club. In this study, 301 valid sample data were extracted from students who have joined the badminton club of universities in Busan, Ulsan and Gyeongnam Province with convenience sampling method.
      The questionnaire were used in this study consisted of 38 question including 7 questions on demographic characteristics, 12 question on social capital, 9 questions on exercise commitment and 10 questions on
      exercise adherence.
      Data analysis methods for hypothesis testing were performed using exploratory factor analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis using SPSS/PC version 25.0. And Ducan test was performed as a post-hoc test. The conclusions of this study were as follows;
      First, in the difference of social capital according to demographicvariables, men showed higher trust than women, and the higher the grade, the longer the activity period, and the higher the number of activities, the higher the communication.
      Second, in the difference of commitment according to demographic variables, men showed higher cognitive commitment than women, and higher grade showed higher behavioral commitment. The longer the
      activity period, the higher the cognitive commitment and behavioral commitment. The higher the number of activities, the higher the cognitive commitment and behavioral commitment.
      Third, in the difference of exercise adherence according to demographic variables, male showed higher exercise ability and exercise friend than female, and grade showed significant difference in exercise friend. The
      longer the participation period, the higher the exercise ability. The shorter the activity period, the higher the exercise environment. The more activity participation, the higher the exercise ability and exercise friend.
      Fourth, Trust and communication, a sub-variable of social capital, had positive effect on cognitive commitment and behavioral commitment, a sub-variable of Exercise Commitment.
      Fifth, Trust and communication, a sub-variable of social capital, had positive effect on exercise ability, exercise friend and exercise environment, a sub-variable of Exercise Adherence.
      Sixth, Cognitive commitment and behavioral commitment, a sub-variable of Exercise Commitment had positive effect on exercise ability, exercise friend and exercise environment, a sub-variable of Exercise Adherence.

      국문 초록 (Abstract)

      본 연구의 목적은 ‘대학교 배드민턴 동아리 학생의 사회자본이 운동몰입 및 운동지속에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 규명하는 것이다. 이를 위해 부산·울산·경남 소재의 대학교 배드민턴 ...

      본 연구의 목적은 ‘대학교 배드민턴 동아리 학생의 사회자본이 운동몰입 및 운동지속에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 규명하는 것이다. 이를 위해 부산·울산·경남 소재의 대학교 배드민턴 동아리에 가입되어 활동하고 있는 대학생 중 편의추출법(convenience sampling)을 이용하여 301명의 유효표본 자료를 분석에 이용하였다.
      본 연구에 이용된 설문지의 구성내용은 인구통계학적 특성에 관한 문항 7개, 사회자본에 관한 문항 12개, 운동몰입에 관한 문항 9개, 운동지속에 관한 문항 10개 등 총 38개의 문항으로 구성되었다.
      가설검정을 위한 자료 분석 방법은 SPSS/PC 25.0버전을 이용하여 탐색적 요인분석, t-검정, 일원변량분석(One-way ANOVA), 다중회귀분석(multiple regression analysis)을 실시하였고, 사후검정으로는 Duncan test를 실시하였다. 이를 통해 도출된 결론은 다음과 같다.
      첫째, 인구통계학적 변인에 따른 사회자본의 차이에서 남자가 여자보다 신뢰가 높게 나타났으며 학년이 높을수록 활동기간이 길수록 활동횟수가 많을수록 소통이 높게 나타났다.
      둘째, 인구통계학적 변인에 따른 운동몰입의 차이에서 남자가 여자보다 인지몰입이 높게 나타났으며 학년이 높을수록 행위몰입이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 활동기간이 길수록 인지몰입과 행위몰입이 높게 나타났으며 활동횟수가 많을수록 인지몰입과 행위몰입이 높게 나타났다.
      셋째, 인구통계학적 변인에 따른 운동지속의 차이에서 남성이 여성보다 운동능력과 운동친구가 높게 나타났으며, 학년은 운동친구에서 유의하게 차이가 나타났다. 활동참여 기간은 길수록 운동능력이 높게 나타났고 활동기간이 짧을수록 운동환경이 높게 나타났다. 활동참여횟수는 많을수록 운동능력과 운동친구가 높게 나타났다.
      넷째, 사회자본의 하위 요인인 신뢰는 운동몰입의 하위 요인인 인지몰입에 정적인 영향을 미쳤으며 사회자본의 하위 요인인 소통은 운동몰입의 하위 요인인 인지몰입과 운동몰입에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
      다섯째, 사회자본의 하위 요인인 신뢰와 소통은 운동지속의 하위 요인인 운동능력, 운동친구, 운동환경에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
      여섯째, 운동몰입의 하위 요인인 인지몰입, 행위몰입은 운동지속의 하위요인인 운동능력, 운동친구, 운동환경에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
