청소년의 애착차원과 스마트폰 중독의 관계에서 의존적 우울과 대인불안의 매개효과 = The Mediating Effects of Dependent Depression and Interpersonal Anxiety in Relations of Dimensions of Attachment and Smartphone addiction of Adolescence

The purpose of this study is explore the effects of attachment dimension, dependent depression, and interpersonal anxiety of adolescence on smartphone according to the relations among attachment dimension, smartphone addiction, dependent depression, and interpersonal anxiety of adolescence. Furthermore, this study established the model that dependent depression and interpersonal anxiety mediate the affects of attachment dimension of adolescence on smartphone addition to analyze mediating effects of mediators in the statistical differences, provided multidimensional exploration and baseline data about variables that affect smartphone addiction by showing that dependent depression and interpersonal anxiety affect both directly and indirectly in relations between attachment and smartphone addiction during the process, and suggested some useful strategies for counselors to explore the clients at counseling scene about the students with smartphone addiction tendency to make a goal for counseling.
The collected data were analyzed with Cronbach' α for each scale and Pearson’s correlation coefficient for each measurement variable by using SPSS, and structural model was developed and verified by AMOS in order to explain relations between attachment dimension(attachment anxiety and avoidance) and smartphone addiction of adolescence with mediators(dependent depression, interpersonal anxiety). Also, Sobel test was conducted to find out whether mediating effects have significance.
The main results of this study are summarized as follows.
Firstly, To find the relationship between the main variables showed that attachment anxiety, attachment avoidance, dependent depression, social anxiety, the relationship between a smartphone addiction appeared in both correlations.
Secondly, Structural model to verify the result, set on the basis of previous research study model variables than competing models better explain the relationship between the structural research model as the final model was set.
Thirdly, after finding out the mediating effects of dependent depression in relations between attachment anxiety and smartphone addiction, it showed that dependent depression mediated partially to relations between attachment anxiety and smartphone addition.
Fourthly, as a result of the mediating effects of interpersonal anxiety in relations between attachment avoidance and smartphone addiction, interpersonal anxiety showed a partial mediation in relations between attachment avoidance and smartphone addition.
Building on these results, dependent depression and interpersonal anxiety, which mediates both directly and indirectly affects of attachment dimension of adolescence on smartphone addition, were synthetically investigated in this study, suggesting that attachment dimension, dependent anxiety, and interpersonal anxiety were taken into consideration to understand smartphone addiction of adolescence. Finally, it described the limitations of this research and the directions of future research.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 청소년 애착의 두 차원인 애착불안 및 애착회피와 스마트폰 중독 간의 관계에서 의존적 우울과 대인불안이 매개한다는 모형을 설정·검증하고, 매개변수들의 매개효과가 유의미한지 살펴보았다. 이를 통해 스마트폰 중독에 영향을 미치는 변인에 대한 다차원적인 탐색 및 스마트폰 중독 성향 학생에 대한 상담 장면에서 상담자가 내담자를 파악하고 상담을 하는 데 있어 도움이 될 수 있는 기초자료를 마련하고자 하였다.
이를 위해 수도권, 중부권 및 영남권 소재의 중․고등학교에 재학 중인 남녀 청소년 414명을 대상으로 설문 조사하였다. 본 연구의 측정도구는 ECRS(Brennan, 1998)를 박지선이 수정·보완한 청소년 애착차원 척도와 한국정보화진흥원(2011)의 인터넷 중독 대응센터에서 개발한 청소년 스마트폰 중독 진단척도, DEQ-A(Blatt, 1976)를 조혜수와 권영민(2009)이 한국 청소년을 대상으로 타당화 과정을 거친 의존적 우울 소척도, SADS(Watson & Friend, 1969)를 이정윤과 최정훈(1997)이 수정·번안한 대인불안 척도를 사용하였다.
수집된 자료는 PASW 18.0을 이용하여, 각 척도의 Cronbach’s α와 각 측정변인의 Pearson 상관계수를 산출하였고, 청소년 애착차원(애착불안과 애착회피)과 스마트폰 중독 간의 관계를 매개변수(의존성 우울, 대인불안)를 이용해서 설명하기 위하여 구조모형을 개발 AMOS 21.0를 이용하여 검증하였다. 또한, 매개효과가 유의미한지를 확인하기 위해 Sobel 검증하였다.
본 연구의 주요결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 주요 변인들 간의 상관관계를 알아본 결과, 애착불안, 애착회피, 의존적 우울, 대인불안, 스마트폰 중독 간 관계에서 모두 정적 상관이 나타났다.
둘째, 구조모형을 검증한 결과, 선행연구를 바탕으로 설정한 연구모형이 경쟁모형보다 변인들 간 구조적 관계를 더 잘 설명함에 따라 연구모형을 최종모형으로 설정하였다.
셋째, 애착불안과 스마트폰 중독 간의 관계에서 의존적 우울은 부분 매개하는 것으로 나타났다.
넷째, 애착회피와 스마트폰 중독 간의 관계에서 대인불안은 부분 매개하는 것으로 나타났다.
이러한 연구결과를 토대로 본 연구에서는 청소년의 애착차원이 스마트폰 중독에 미치는 영향에 직·간접적으로 영향을 미치는 매개효과로서의 의존적 우울과 대인불안을 종합적으로 검증하였으며, 청소년의 스마트폰 중독을 이해하기 위해서 청소년의 애착차원과 의존적 우울, 대인불안의 고려해야 함을 제안하고, 본 연구의 제한점과 향후 연구 방향에 대해 논의하였다.
