미국 소셜 네트워크 서비스(SNS) 사용자의 특성과 정치참여 = A Study on Political Participation and Characteristics of the U.S. Social Network Services User

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Worldwide, the social network services(SNS) users are increasing rapidly. And recent elections in the United States and Britain had emerged from the SNS-based campaign, such as Facebook.com, Myspace.com and Twitter.com. This study aims to characterize political participation of the SNS users, through survey analysis of the United States. Using Pew Internet & American Life Project survey data, this study analyses social and demographic characteristics in the U.S. SNS users. The research has used quantitative methodology. This argument provides the important key in understanding the political characteristics and political participation of the SNS users.
