      다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

      In this study, the image the first graders have about their school teacher is evaluated by a self-recording questionnaire, and this study aims to verify if their images vary depending on their general characteristics, health class and health teacher awareness etc. In order to carry out the purpose, this Study set the subjects as follows.
      1. What are the health class and health teacher awareness that students perceive depending on the type of their general characteristics?
      2. What is the image of health teacher that students perceive?
      3. What is the image of health teacher that students perceive depending on the type of their general characteristics?
      4. What is the image of health teacher that students perceive depending on the health class and health teacher awareness?
      To address the issue above, a self-recording questionnaire containing 30 questions was utilized at 12 Middle schools which employ health teachers, for a total of 834 students, both boys and results were then analyzed. To assess the general characteristics of the test subjects and health class and health teacher awareness and the impression of the health teacher, SPSS Win 18.0 and independent t-test and unitary analysis of variance were used. The following shows the summary of the results of the problems selected by this study.
      First, as to awareness based on health class, the view of the importance of he middle school students in health education appealed high and positive. School classification and learning health education showed significant differences. The interest of the middle school students in health education appealed high and positive. School classification, satisfaction of their school lives, physical condition and learning health education showed significant differences. As to awareness based on health teacher, need of health teacher appealed high and positive. satisfaction of their school lives and physical condition showed significant differences. The desired job selection(health teacher) intention appealed positive. Sex, school classification and satisfaction of their school lives showed significant differences. Nursing major selection intention appealed positive. Sex, school classification and satisfaction of their school lives showed significant differences.
      Secondly, the average of the image of the health teacher was 4.26 (on a 5 point scale, middle point being 2.5, points are allotted from 0 to 5), which shows that the value was more than the average, which means the response has been positive. The factor-wise recognition points of the health teacher were 'professional image(4.43)', 'internal image'(4.28), 'external image(4.21)', 'role image(4.12)', the 'professional image' scored high whereas 'role image' scored low. The areas in which image scored high points were 'Health teacher help students(4.55).', 'Health teacher serves a valuable purpose.(4.46), 'Health teacher has a professional knowledge.(4.45) and the areas in which image scored low factor-wise points were 'Health teacher counsels students with trouble(3.85).', 'Health teacher is likeable(3.97)', 'Health teacher is environmental manager(4.03)'.
      Thirdly, as to image of health teacher based on general characteristics, there were not significant differences on the image of the health teacher in most of the questions by sex, regular health education. But school classification(external image p<.05, role image p<.05), satisfaction of their school lives(internal image p<.001, external image p<.001, professional image p<.001, role image p<.001), physical condition(internal image p<.001, external image p<.001, professional image p<.001, role image p<.001) showed significant differences.
      Fourthly, as to image of health teacher based on health class awareness, the view of the importance of he middle school students in health education(internal image p<.001, external image p<.001, professional image p<.001, role image p<.001), the interest of the middle school students in health education(internal image p<.001, external image p<.001, professional image p<.001, role image p<.001) showed significant differences.
