      다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

      The purpose of this study is to know about Internet Addiction and its relation to Procrastination, Volitional control, Academic achievement and Intelligence for elementary school student, and to know how their relations differ in terms of sex distinction, a dual-income and economical position of parents.
      For the purpose of this study, the questionnaire was distributed among 317 students in the 5th and 6th grade in elementary school located in Jeollabuk-do. The obtained data were analyzed by Correlation analysis and Multiple regression analysis operated by the statistical program SPSS 12.0 for Windows.
      Internet addiction criterion consisted of Disturbance of Adaptive Founction, Addictive Automatic Thought, Withdrawal, Virtual interpersonal relationship, Deviate behavior and Tolerance.
      Procrastination scale consisted of period of delay(beginning delay, process delay, close delay) and content of delay(study behavior, daily behavior). Volitional control criterion consisted of volitional contents(efficacy enhancement, interest enhancement, necessity emphasis, emotion inspiration, normal recovery, warning induction) and period of control(starting, persistence).
      The results of this study were shown as follows.
      First, the Internet Addiction and the procrastination correlation is high. It means that the more the Internet addiction will be serious, the more the recording of delay conduct will be high.
      Second, the explanation of procrastination on Internet Addiction was 61.5%. The explanation of volitional control(control period-starting) on Internet Addiction was 7.2%. and 7.2% was the explanation of volitional control(control period-persistence) on Internet Addiction.
      The explanation of academic achievement on Internet Addiction was 2.9%.
      The explanation of Intelligence on Internet Addiction was 3.2%.
      Synthetically, the fact that Internet Addiction of elementary students affect their procrastination was found in this study.
      The correlation of the procrastination on the Internet Addiction and was high. The explanation of procrastination on Internet Addiction was high. Analysis in factor showed meaningful difference in the statistics.
      The correlation of Volitional control, Academic achievement and Intelligence on Internet Addiction was low, and the explanation in reality was low. Therefore, it needs to be studied constantly the relation between Internet Addiction and procrastination through various analysis by factor from various view point. It is can't be found the cause of procrastination within only Internet Addiction.
