항공사 객실승무원의 사회적 유능성 측정을 위한 척도개발 = Development of Social Competence Scale for Flight Attendants

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 항공사 객실승무원의 사회적 유능성을 측정할 수 있는 타당성 있는 척도를 개발하는 것이다. 이를 위해 현직 항공사 객실승무원, 훈련교관, 면접위원, 항공서비스학과 교수 등 25명을 대상으로 개방형 설문지를 사용하여 사회적 유능성이 높은 항공사 객실승무원의 특성을 기술하도록 하였다. 그 후 내용타당도 검증을 거쳐 항공사 객실승무원의 사회적 유능성의 4개 하위 구성요인에 따른 62개의 설문 문항을 도출하였다. 이 문항들을 이용하여 66명의 현직 항공사 객실승무원을 대상으로 1차 예비조사를 실시하였고, 응답결과에 대한 탐색적 요인분석을 실시하여 37개의 문항을 추출하였다. 이 문항들을 이용하여 69명의 현직 항공사 객실승무원을 대상으로 2차 예비조사를 실시하였고, 응답결과에 대한 탐색적 요인분석을 실시하여 23개의 문항을 추출하였다. 이 문항들을 이용하여 207명의 현직항공사 객실승무원을 대상으로 최종설문을 진행하였고, 타당도 및 신뢰도 분석 등을 실시하여 최종적으로 4개 하위 구성요인에 따른 총 20개 문항의 사회적 유능성 측정도구를 완성하였다. 각 구성요인별 문항 수는 업무수행능력 7문항, 환경에 대한 적응능력 4문항, 동료와의 대인관계능력 6문항, 고객과의 대인관계능력 3문항으로 구성되었다. 그리고 항공사 객실승무원의 사회적 유능성 수준을 분석한 결과 성별 및 직급에서 유의미한 결과를 도출하였다. 본 연구에서 개발한 사회적 유능성 측정척도는 항공사 객실승무원의 사회적 유능성을 파악하고, 향후 항공사 객실승무원의 사회적 유능성과 관련된 연구 및 교육 프로그램 개발 시 유용한 도구로 활용될 수 있다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to develop the social competence scale to measure the social competence of flight attendants. The process and results of this study are described as follows. The open questionnaire was conducted on a total of 25 people consisted of current flight attendants, flight attendant instructors, interviewers, professors at the Department of Flight Services, and others. The participants were instructed to describe the characteristics of cabin crew members whose social competence is high in the questionnaire. Based on the four subconstructs, total of 62 survey questions were selected after verifying the validity of all the questions. The first preliminary survey was conducted on 66 current flight attendants by using the 62 survey questions from the questionnaire. By performing exploratory factor analysis (EFA) on the response results of the first preliminary survey, 37 questions were extracted out of the 62 questions. In the second preliminary survey, the 37 questions from the first survey were used and 69 current flight attendants. 23 questions were extracted out of the 37 questions by performing EFA on the response results of the second preliminary survey. In the final survey, the 23 questions from the second survey were used. It was conducted on 207 current flight attendants. Moreover, factor structure, validity analysis, descriptive statistical analysis, reliability analysis, and correlation analysis were conducted on the response results of the final survey. By doing so, a tool of measuring social competence consisting of total of 20 questions based on the four subconstructs were finally completed. Each subconstruct is consisted of several questions: For work performance, 7 questions; for adaptability to environments, 4; for interpersonal competence with coworkers, 6; for interpersonal competence with customers, 3.
