The purpose of this study is to recognize the importance on accurate principal diagnosis codes written and to improve the agreement by investigating the factors on affecting the concordance on the principal diagnosis between electronic medical records and medical certificates, the subjects were a total of 327 people for who medical certificates were issued among discharge of patients summary in gastroenterology, orthopedics in medical. surgery department. Statistical analysis was to conduct t-test to examine statistical significance of the main diagnosis concordance between electronic medical records and medical certificates by utilizing SPSS 18.0 dichotomous logistic regression analysis and correlation analysis were carried out to find out the factors affecting principal diagnosis concordance and the relevance of the variables.
study showed following result: Looking at the general characteristics of the surveyed subjects, men's distribution was higher than that of women, 50-59 years old by age group and health insurance(87.5%) by the type of insurance showed the highest distribution, respectively.
