MLS(Magnetic Levitation System) is the plant that studied a lot because it hasn't only disadvantage like nonlinearity, un stability, high price but also has advantage like low fiction, low noise, low heat generating as one of discontacted mechanical elements. This MLS uses electric or permanent magnet actuator to levitate the object stably. Therefore actuator's design could be a large part in MLS' s constitution.
MLS's magnetic attraction force proportionate with square of its current. This current in electronic magnet's coil affect directly at the its attraction force. So actuator that made electric magnet's coil magnetize has current feedback. And the power amplifier can sort like PWM type or linear one. Generally PWM type actuator has advantage that get a low power loss but it's application circuit can become confusing. And it also has noise generating possibility.
This study consider about design for MLS's capacity and actuator's one. And then we try to design for feasible linear actuator which used bipolar junction transistor with current feedback in MLS.
