영유아교사의 일과 삶의 균형을 위한 근무환경 척도 개발 및 타당화 = Development and Validation of Working Environment Scale for Work-Life Balance of Early Childhood Teachers

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 영유아교사의 일과 삶의 균형을 위한 근무환경 수준을 측정할 수 있는 척도를 개발하고타당화하기 위한 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 2022년 8월 1일부터 2024년 2월 28일까지 척도개발과 타당화 연구를 진행하였다. 문헌고찰과 예비연구의 기초연구 과정을 통해 총 64개의 예비문항을 구성하고, 예비문항에 대한 11명의 전문가 집단 델파이 조사를 통해 총 54문항 최종시안을 완성하였다. 최종시안에 대하여 영유아교사 30명을 대상으로 문항의 적합성 및 이해도 파악과 소요시간 측정을 위한 예비연구를 수행하고, 예비연구의 결과를 반영하여 영유아교사 820명을 대상으로 본 조사를 시행하였다.
54문항에 대한 타당도 검증을 통해 확정된 최종 5개의 구성영역과 13개의 하위요인과 최종 44문항은영유아교사의 일과 삶의 균형을 위한 근무환경 수준을 평정할 수 있는 타당하고 신뢰할 수 있는 척도임이 검증되었다. 본 연구에서 개발한 영유아교사의 일과 삶의 균형을 위한 근무환경 척도는 유아교육현장에서 영유아교사의 일과 삶의 균형을 위한 근무환경 수준을 점검할 수 있는 것이다. 따라서 본 연구는 유아교육현장의 근무환경 개선을 위한 법․제도적, 사회적 지원방안 모색을 위한 기초자료를 제공한다는 데 그 의의가 있다.

The purpose of this study is to develop and validate a scale that can measure the level of working environment for work-life balance of early childhood teachers. To this end, scale development and validation studies were conducted from August 1, 2022 to February 28, 2024. A total of 64 preliminary questions were composed through the basic research process of literature review and preliminary research, and a total of 54 questions were completed through a Delphi survey of 11 experts on preliminary questions. For the final proposal, a preliminary study was conducted on 30 early childhood teachers to understand the suitability and understanding of the question and to measure the time required, and this survey was conducted on 820 early childhood teachers by reflecting the results of the preliminary study.
The final 5 constituent areas, 13 sub-factors, and the final 44 questions determined through the validity tests of 54 questions were verified as valid and reliable measures to assess the level of working environment for work-life balance of early childhood teachers. The working environment scale for work-life balance of early childhood teachers developed in this study can check the level of working environment for work-life balance of early childhood teachers in early childhood education field. Therefore, this study is meaningful in that it provides basic data for seeking legal, institutional, and social support measures to improve the working environment at early childhood education field.
