대학생의 노인에 대한 태도 연구 = University student's attitudes toward elderly

국문 초록 (Abstract)

고령화 문제에 대한 별다른 대책 없이 고령사회로 진입해가고 있는 우리의 현실에 비추어 볼 때, 미래 고령사회에서 팽창된 노인세대를 부양하고 고령화 문제를 해결하고 책임져야 할 지금의 20대 젊은 층이 노인에 대하여 어떤 태도를 가지고 있는가는 향후 노인복지의 방향과 정책의 결정은 물론, 사회적 합의를 형성해 가는 데 있어서도 매우 중요한 기준이 될 수 있다. 노인에 대한 지식제공 및 강화가 노인에 대한 긍정적인 태도를 향상시킬 수 있듯이 노인에 대한 지식과 태도가 긍정적인 경우 노인 복지서비스에 긍정적인 영향을 줄 수 있기에 노인에 대한 지식과 태도의 연구는 노인을 위한 프로그램 개발과 정책을 수립하는데 있어서도 필수적이며 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 따라서 증가하는 노인인구에 대비하여 젊은 세대들이 노인에 대한 올바른 지식과 긍정적인 태도를 가질 수 있는 방안에 대한 연구는 매우 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구는 이러한 문제의식을 가지고 미래의 사회의 주역으로 활동하는 젊은 세대인 대학생들을 대상으로 노인에 대한 지식과 태도에 대해서 연구하고 그들의 노인에 대한 태도에 영향을 미치는 요인이 무엇인가 알아보며, 나아가 그들의 노인에 대한 태도가 긍정적이고 바람직하게 변화될 수 있도록 도움을 주고 노인복지의 올바른 방향을 제시하는데 기여하고자 한다.
