Museums are increasingly implementing family education programs, yet there remains a scarcity of research differentiating these initiativesconventional educational programs. The purpose of this study is to apply the constructivism framework that underscores the crucial role of participant interactions to investigate the principles underpinning family-friendly museum exhibitions. After an analytical comparison of elements associated with family-friendly museum education, the Children’s Museum of the National Folk Museum of Korea emerged as a model institution that effectively integrates key aspects of family-oriented learning and fostering meaningful interactions among participants. Findings in this study advocates for the creation of tailored family education programs catering to family-oriented visitors through diverse learning modalities.
