The purpose of this study is to utilize spatial information by integrating data from BIM (building information modeling) and GIS (geographic information system) into a BIM/GIS spatial information platform. In particular, in order to utilize IFC (industry foundation classes), a standard BIM data model, in a GIS environment, we propose a method of data subtraction and utilization of the derived structure of the IFC model. To achieve this, apply the IFC shape to the OBJ, convert it to GLB data, and build a BIM/GIS integrated server by modeling the shape and attribute information in the database. The built BIM/GIS integrated server can check the internal and external information of the converted BIM model for each object without loss in the GIS environment. Ultimately, this study aims to contribute to smart city management by developing efficient spatial information integration technology and thereby supporting the management and analysis of various facility spatial information utilization.
