기독교 역사에 나타난 공의회의 거룩성 = The Holiness of Sanhedrin Mentioned in the History of Christianity

국문 초록 (Abstract)

기독교 역사속의 총회 즉 공의회는 대부분 주의 뜻을 실현하는데 곧은 발자취를 남겼다. 그러나 한국 기독교 고의회는 그 정체성을 잃고 하나님의 뜻을 왜곡하는 비윤리적 기관으로 비춰진 경우도 적지 않았다.
그래서 이 논문은 먼저 성서에 나타난 공의회적 성격의 집회들을 조명해 보고, 또 기독교 보편적 교회 공의회의 역사적 증거에서 기독교 공의회의 이해를 돕기 위해 교리의 정립기인 325년 니케야 회의 때 부터 870년대 사이에 있었던 주요 공의회를 돌아보았다.
또한 보편적 공의회의 회복을 위한 공의회 즉 WCC의 '신앙과 직제위원회'를 중심으로 그 논의와 결의들을 살펴보고 그 내용들로 교회 공의회의 신성에 대한 자료를 삼았다. 그리고 WCC를 지지하는 한국 교회 교단들의 주요 공의회를 살펴 WCC 회원교회가 갖는 권위와 공의회의 당위성에 대한 자료로 삼으려 했다.
그동안의 한국교회에서의 WCC 회원교회 공의회에 관하여 그 본래적인 기독교와 공의회의 역할들이 제대로 수행되어 왔는지를 찾아보되 가급적 긍정적인 측면들을 드러내려 했다.
또한 한 가지 사건 속에 깊이 들어가지 않고 여러 공의회의 주요 신성한 결론들을 간추려서 요약하는 방법으로 정리하고 그 내용들을 토대로 내일의 한국교회를 위한 제언으로 삼고자 했다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

It has been 120 years since gospel introduced into Korean Peninsula. Many Christian churches have been built and various Christian associations has been organized through the years. And every association has developed its general assembly which has characteristics of sanhedrin.
General assembly, sanhedrin in the history of christianity has left its righteous footprints in fulfilling God's will. However it would be often shown as immoral associations which lost its identity and distorted God's will.
Therefore I examined first the assemblies that have characteristics of sanhedrin in the Bible and the major assemblies from the point of Nicaea Assembly in 325 AD, which Christian doctrines had been established, till The 8th Council in 870 AD, which had been before Christianity was divided into two, East Orthodox Church and West Orthodox, to help understand the features of christian associations.
I also examined what the arguments and resolutions were focusing on ' Faith and Organization Committee' of WCC, and made a material to confirm the definition of the holiness of sanhedrin. And I tried to search the sanhedrin of the Korean Christianity associations which support WCC and found out the authority and necessity of sanhedrin that the members of WCC has to have.
So in this thesis I tried to check if Korean church associations, members of WCC, has fulfilled their functions comparing with the original roles of christianity itself and if possible, I focused on revealing the positive aspects of them. In addition I tried to summarize and put into shape the holy resolutions of them and I propose them principles of sanhedrin for Korean churches.
