중학생이 지각한 부모의 부부갈등 및 자기 통제력이 학교부적응 행동에 미치는 영향 = The relationships among Perceived Interparental Conflict and Self-Control, School Mal-adjustment Behaviors in Middle School Students

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships among perceived interparental conflict, self-control and school mal-adjustment behavior in middle school students. The subjects were a sample of 240 the first and second-graders in Busan metropolitan city. The data were statistically analyzed using correlation analysis, regression analysis and hierarchical regression analysis. The results of this study are as follows. First, there is a positive correlation between school mal-adjustment behavior and interparental conflict. It means the more interparental conflict the middle school students perceive, the more school mal-adjustment behaviors they display. The school mal-adjustment behavior are positively correlated with ‘frequency’ and ‘content’, the two subordinate factors of the interparental conflict. As a result, as students perceive that the interparental conflict happens more frequently and that the content of interparental conflict is much more related with their problems, their school mal-adjustment behaviors go high. Second, there is an negative correlation between self-control and the school mal-adjustment behavior. It means the higher self-control the middle school students display, the lower school mal-adjustment behavior they show. Third, in school mal-adjustment behavior of the students, there is higher negative correlation in ‘self-control’ than in ‘interparental conflict’. The ‘self-control’ affects school mal- adjustment behavior much more than ‘interparental conflict’ the students perceive. 국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 남녀 중학생 248명을 대상으로 부부갈등과 자기 통제력, 학교부적응 행동 간의 관계를 알아보았다. 이를 위해 부부갈등 및 자기 통제력이 학교부적응 행동에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보고, 중학생이 지각한 부모의 부부갈등이 학교부적응 행동에 미치는 영향에서 자기 통제력의 중재효과를 가지는지 알아보았다. 연구 결과, 중학생이 지각한 부모의 부부갈등과 학교부적응 행동은 유의미한 정적인 상관이 있었다. 또한 자기 통제력과 학교부적응 행동 역시 유의미한 부적 상관이 있었으며 충동적이고 자신 위주로 생각하며 말보다 행동이 앞서는 경향이 있는지를 파악하는 ‘단기만족추구’가 욕구를 지연시키는 능력을 나타내는 ‘장기만족추구’보다 더 높은 부적상관을 보였다. 또한 중학생이 지각한 부모의 부부갈등과 자기 통제력은 학교부적응 행동의 유의미한 예측변인으로 각각 작용하였다. 중학생이 지각한 부모의 부부갈등보다 자기 통제력이 학교부적응 행동에 미치는 영향력이 더 큰 것으로 나타났으나, 중학생이 지각한 부모의 부부갈등과 학교부적응 행동의 관계에서 자기 통제력의 중재효과는 유의하지 않았다. 연구결과의 논의 및 의의가 제시되었다.
