우리나라 농산물수출 부문의 경쟁력 제고방안 연구

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

With the launching of the WTO and FTA, agricultural trade barriers have been abolished or reduced and the scale of world agricultural trade tends to have increased significantly. As a defensive agriculture policy in such a global environment, South Korea needs consolidation of competitive power relative to the export of agricultural products so as to creating new markets and increase the inner competitiveness of domestic agriculture. The main focus of this study was to investigate the current situation and the importance of Korean agricultural exports and analyze the competitiveness of agricultural products exports using revealed comparative advantage index (RCA Index). As a result of the analysis, export competitiveness of Korean agricultural products found at a very low level. With the signing of FTA with ASEAN and United States, although there is a change in export competitiveness, a new approach is needed and this is time-based. In the future, there is a need for a variety of strategies to improve the competitiveness of Korea’s agricultural products export market.
