중·한 ‘붉다’ 계열 색채어의 의미 비교 = A Comparative Study on the meaning of the color term “red” between Chinese and Korean

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper aims to compare the meaning of the color term “red” between Chinese and Korean. Before comparing the meanings between the “hong” and “bukda/balgata”, we searched the prototype meanings of “hong” and “bukda/balgata”, and then analysised the extension meanings which borrowed from the metaphor and grammaticalization. By comparing the different extension meanings between the “hong” and “bukda/balgata”, we can get the extension meanings contain the feeling, state, politics and social culture because of the different history and culture. At last, the analysis showed that the extension meanings of “hong” in Chinese are more than “bukda/balgata”s’ in Korean.
