木簡으로 본 新羅 王京人의 文字生活

국문 초록 (Abstract)

월성해자목간은 6~7세기에 작성된 목간으로서, 간단한 메모를 기록한 목간이나 부찰목간이 많이 출토된 8세기의 안압지목간과는 달리, 다면목간, 원주형목간을 이용해 작성한 문서목간이 큰 비중을 차지하고 있다. 이는 종이보급도가 낮았던 6~7세기 당시에 다면ㆍ다행목간을 관청장부나 행정문서용으로 많이 사용하였던 신라의 서사환경(書寫環境)과 관련이 있다고 생각된다. 한편 목간은 신라의 한자수용과정과 이두의 발달과정을 엿볼 수 있는 자료이다. 앞으로 월성해자목간, 안압지목간을 서로 비교하여 신라 문자생활의 지표로서 자리메김하는 연구가 진행될 필요가 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The Weolseong palace's moat(WSWM) seem to have been created during the 6th and 7th centuries, and unlike the Anab-ji lake's wooden tablets, which should have been produced in the 8th century and featured only brief memos upon them, they show many samples that have a lot of pages('多面') or at least many lines('多行') upon them. Paper was still not considered an ordinary issue during the 6th and 7th centuries, so the Silla dynasty's governmental offices would have had to use such wooden tablets equipped with many pages or lines to establish office registers or official documents. On the other hand, Wooden tablets is an item which lets us see the 'Idu' letters of the Silla dynasty and the development process of the official documents. In the future, the wooden tablets found from the Weolseong palace's moat and the Anab-ji lake should be put under comparative studies, and established as evidences of the Silla people's usage of letters and documents in their ordinary lives.
