The purpose of this study is to evaluate the integrity of combined LNG vaporizer. The combined LNG vaporizer is used to transfer the liquified natural gas which temperature is -160℃ and supplied pressure on LNG vaporization mode is 4bar(0.4㎫). In the present work the temperature distribution and thermal stress are calculated by the finite element method. A commercial software(ANSYS 11.0) is used in the structural analysis for combined LNG vaporizer. In design condition, calculated membrane and membrane plus bending stress are lower than allowable stresses based on the ASME boiler and pressure vessel code. In operating condition the results are satisfied with the code limits.
