The concept of ecological citizenship was neoterically begun to discuss in histo-genetic. And then it was included in a category of citizenship that means not a civil rights but a civic attitudes or civil virtues. So ecological citizenship thematics and contents should be connected with the civic education in high school moral subject curriculum.
An objection-oriented activity and a prescription-oriented activity were circularly and complementarily connected with each other in high school moral education. Therefore we examined the connections between civic educations and contents of ecological citizenship in high school moral education from a present and a future viewpoints each other. First, in a present viewpoint, we reflected totally and synthetically both the substances of civic education and the thematic details of ecological citizenship those have been in forced. And, in a future viewpoint, we critically considered both improved contents for civic education and progress plans for ecological transition education those would be in forced.
The ecological transition education projects of progress plans will deal with the problems of global system as an unique ecologic community.
Nevertheless, those are not clarified the hierarchies and connections between civic and community likewise environmental-sustainable development education of present plans. So that, we could not able to reveal the sameness of a subjectivity between democratic citizen and ecologic citizen. And than we could not able to generalize the identity of democratic citizenship and ecological citizenship as a whole citizenship.
