      (Abstract)
      This study is about a method to effect a change in chroma for the sever hair damage occurs. comparison and analysis is made in the changes in hair when pre-pigmentation is applied. finally, it aims present the basic materials of pre-pigmentation, The following are the conclusion of this study.


      1. From the comparison of hair color, the color-difference between the pre-pigmented group and dyed group with the same oxygenated water concentration is not significant, but with the different concentration level of oxygenated water, 6% solution shows more effect in both pre-pigmented and dyed groups than 3% solution.
       
      2. In the physical characteristics of the hair, severely damaged hair seems to have more tensile strength due to the pigment penetration through the cuticle layer when applied by acid dyes or acid dyes plus water. Between the same oxygenated water concentration groups, the pre-pigmented group shows more tensile strength despite same extension, the pre-pigment coloration seems to be more effective. As the 6% oxygenated water shows more tensile strength and less extension than the 3% in both pre-pigmented and dyed groups, the 6% oxygenated water seems to cause less physical damage.
       
      3. The irregularly overlapped cuticle layer was observed from the normal hair group which is decolorized two times, while normal hair group shows regular cuticle layer format. There appeared gap shortening in the cuticle layer and curl at the surface from the comparison of severely damaged hair which are applied by chemical one and chemical one plus water separately .

      The group which is pre-pigmented to the severely damaged hair shows unclear edge of the cuticle layer due to over-destruction of cuticle and there appeared partly external layer of Cell Membrane Complex (CMC). The group which is 요ed is thought to be less damaged than pre-pigmented group, because there is no appearance of unclear edge of the cuticle layer nor external layer of CMC.
       
       In conclusion, from the comparison between the group which are pre-pigmented to the severely damaged hair with 6% oxygenated water and dyed groups, the pre-pigmented group shows more physical damage but rather more effectiveness in the physical and colorizing character.
