This review paper focuses on 49 papers in the field of airport management published by the Korean Airline Management Association for 23 years from 2001 to 2023, and organizes and analyzes the papers by topic to present implications and suggest ways to continue the development of the airport management field in the future. In the case of airport management, the papers submitted to the journal were classified into two categories: large, medium. The large category is airport management, and the medium category is divided into three categories: first, airport construction and operation, second, airport strategy, and third, airport safety and security. The subcategories for airport construction and operation include airport efficiency and hubization, airport performance and evaluation, airport capacity, airport master plan, and airport policy, and the subcategories for airport strategy include airport service, airport service quality, airport passenger service, airport user and consumer behavior analysis, airport network, and airport management, Airport Service and Brand Image, Airport Logistics Hubization, Consumer Airport Choice, Airport Finance, Airport Image, and Airport Safety and Security are categorized as Airport Security Responsibility, Airport Safety Information System, Aviation Safety Management System, Airport Security Technology, Airport Security Policy, Aviation Security Passenger Acceptance, Airport Security Screening, Aviation Security Law, and Security Screening System. We summarized each of the large, medium papers by focusing on the implications of the topics of the papers by year, examined the changes in the number of papers submitted in the field of airport management over the past 23 years through the number of papers submitted in each field by year, and concluded with suggestions for future development centered on domestic and international policy trends in the field of airport management.
