  Ladies and Gentlemen, as well as Messrs. Editors, I do not ask, as a mere matter of courtesy, to have what I am about to pen printed in the columns of our "Family Organ," but demand it as an act of justice, and right, toward the present proprietors of the "Old Spirit." Emanating as these remarks do from an old, and, I trust, loyal member of the family, I hope the characteristic and inborn modesty of the "Senior," the "Bee Hunter," or "DIck," will not be shocked, nor any member of the household be frightened from their propriety by the 'few feeble remarks"...
