- This study examined the association between walk score, perception of the pedestrian environment, and housing prices. The survey was conducted among adults aged 18 and older ling in Daegu from October 12 to November 8, 2022. A total of 347 responses were collected and used for analysis. Walk scores for respondents’ home addresses were calculated using ArcGIS, and perception of the pedestrian environment were collected from a survey. The spatial regression model were used for the analysis. The results showed that walk score was positively correlated with housing prices. In the perception of the pedestrian environmental variables, housing prices found to be associated with various facilities(+), pedestrian obstacles(-), security facilities(+). This study is significant in that it examined the correlation between walk score and housing prices, and further considered perception of the pedestrian environment as a determinant of housing prices.
