      This study explores the relationship between authentic leadership and innovative work behavior. Drawing from authentic leadership theory, intrinsic motivation theory, organizational climate theory, and psychological capital theory, this study examines the mediating role of person-organization fit and the moderating role of innovation-driven organizational climate. Based on the data collected from 2,070 Korean central and local government employees, the results indicate that 1) authentic leadership had a significant direct effect on innovative work behavior and 2) person-organization fit significantly mediated the relationship between authentic leadership and innovative work behavior. In addition, innovation-driven organizational climate significantly moderated the relationship between person-organization fit and innovative work behavior, and the indirect effect of authentic leadership on innovative work behavior via person-organization fit was moderated by innovation-driven organizational climate. This study expands the understanding of factors influencing innovative work behavior in the public sector.
