한국의 온라인 교회와 사역에 대한 선교학적 성찰 = A Missiological Reflection on Online Church and Ministry

국문 초록 (Abstract)

코로나-19 이후 온라인 교회나 온라인 사역은 이제 거스를 수없는 뉴 노멀(new normal)이 되었다. 코로나-19 이후 한국 개신교인들의 온라인 사역에 대한 수용성은 부정적인 것보다는 긍정적인 비율이 더 높은 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 온라인과 오프라인 교회와 사역의 연계성의 대세를 인정하면서도 양자의 차별성이 필요하다고 볼 수 있다. 본 논문은 온라인 교회와 사역에 대한 선교학적 성찰을 통해 온라인사역의 가능성과 방향에 대해 도움을 주고자 한다. 여기에서는 한국교회의 온라인 교회의 의미와 온라인 사역의 사례들을 제시하고 유튜브 사역, 메타버스 선교 사역, AI 활용 방안 등을 중심으로 사역의 적용 부분을 논하였다. 먼저 한국교회의 유튜브 사역을 구독자 순으로, 인기 영상 조회 순으로 분석해보았다. 또 메타버스 시대에 메타버스 교회의 개념을 말하며 교회론, 예배론, 공동체론, 선교론 등에서 성찰할 부분을 살펴보았고 온라인 교회와 AI의 활용방안을 제시하였다. 또 온라인 교회와 연관된 중요 이슈들을 명목주의 문제, 신학 및 교회 교육 문제, 교회 개척의 문제, 그리고 사회 변혁의 문제와 연관해 제기하였다. 마지막으로 온라인 교회와 사역에 대한 실행과 성찰은 항상 가능성과 함정(possibility and pitfall)이 공존하기에 그 성찰의 중심에 역동적인 성령의 역사와 영적인 생명(zoe)이 있어야 함을 제안하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Since COVID-19, online churches and ministries have be come an irreversible new normal. In the era of post-COVID-19, the acceptance of online ministries among Korean Protestants appears to be more positive than negative. While recognizing the prevailing trend of integrating online and offline church activities, it is also seen as necessary to maintain their dis tinctiveness. This paper aims to offer insights into the possi bilities and directions of online ministries through missiological reflections on online churches. It presents the significance of online churches in Korea, examples of online ministries, and discusses ministry applications focusing on YouTube ministry, metaverse missionary work, and the use of AI. Initially, the paper analyzes Korean church YouTube ministries based on subscriber count and popularity of videos, etc. It also explores the concept of metaverse churches in the era of the metaverse, delving into areas such as ecclesiology, liturgy, community, and missiology. Furthermore, the paper presents strategies for using AI in online churches and discusses significant issues related to online churches, including nominalism, theological and church education, church planting, and social transformation. Finally, the paper proposes that the practice and reflection of online church and ministry should center on the dynamic work of the Holy Spirit and the spiritual life(zoe), as they co-exist with the possibilities and pitfalls.
