예비물리교사의 개인적 인식론에 초점을 둔 교사교육자의 실행에 대한 셀프스터디 = Self-study on the Practice of a Teacher Educator Focusing on the Personal Epistemology of a Preservice Physics Teacher

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to understand a physics teacher educator’s practice for understanding preservice physics teachers’ personal epistemology in an undergraduate course. In this self-study, I, as a teacher educator, discussed my teaching practice for 14 senior students in a department of physics education. In the view of personal epistemology, we discussed the meaning of data from preservice teachers such as the answers on questionnaires, their journals, videos of their lesson demonstrations, and my reflective journals with three critical colleagues. As a teacher educator, ’I’ expected them to change their orientations for good teaching to a student-centered lesson and to understand the implication of theoretical knowledge for being professional teachers. I found that they had difficulty in bridging theoretical knowledge and their practice; however, their personal epistemology about teaching was affected not only by my feedback but also by that of their peers.
I found that the learner’s individual epistemology needed to be clarified and that the process of discussion needed to be emphasized more.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 학부 과정에 있는 예비물리교사의 개인적 인식론을 이해하기 위한 물리교사교육자의실행의 이해이다. 이 셀프스터디에서 교사교육자로서 연구자인 ‘나’는 14명의 물리교육과 4학년 학생에대한 교수과정을 논의하였다. 개인적 인식론의 관점에서 조사한 설문의 응답, 그들의 일지, 그리고 수업시연 영상 및 나의 반성적 저널을 3명의 비판적 동료들과 함께 논의하고, 그 의미를 찾으려 하였다.
교사교육자로서 나는 예비물리교사들의 좋은 물리 수업에 대한 관점이 학생중심 관점으로 바뀌기를, 그리고 전문적인 교사가 되기 위해서는 이론적 지식이 어떤 시사점이 있는지를 알기를 기대하였다. ‘나’는예비교사들이 이론적 지식과 실행을 연결하는데 어려움이 있으며, 교수법에 관한 개인적 인식론이 ‘나’와동료들의 피드백으로 영향을 받는 점을 알 수 있었다. 이를 통해 학습자 개인의 인식론을 명확하게 하고, 논의하는 과정을 보다 강조할 필요가 있다는 점을 알 수 있었다.
