도선국사 탑비의 풍수관과 탑비설립지연의 정치적배경 = The Study of Background of Dosun Tower Delaying Establishment and It’s Fengshui in the Dosun Tower

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문은 도선국사 탑비의 설립지연배경과 탑비에 내재된 도선의 풍수관과 도선국사의 탑비설립지연배경을 살펴보고자 한다. 도선이 일반적인 승려로서 송악의 왕씨 가문과 만남은 왕륭의 집터선정에 대하여 도선의 풍수적 조언으로 시작되었다. 도선은 세조 왕륭의 집터를 바르게 정해주면서 이듦해 왕건이 태어날 것을 알려주었다. 도선은 자신의 풍수적 도움을 받아서 지은 집에서 태어난 왕건이 장성하자 장차 새로운 국가를 개창할 수 있도록 천문·지리·병법을 전해주었다. 이것은 도선이 고려를 개국하는데 큰 역할을 한 태조왕건의 멘토나 다름없다. 그러므로 고려 태조 왕건은 훈요십조에 도선의 의견에 따라서 산천의 지기를 안정시키기 위하여 세워진 사찰들은 훼손하여 말라고 후대 왕들에게 당부하였다. 후대왕들은 이러한 태조의 뜻을 받들어 도선을 계속 존숭하여 국사의 반열에 올려놓았다. 그런데, 고려 인종시대에는 인종의 외조부인 이자겸의 난으로 왕궁은 불에 타고, 인종은 왕권을 이자겸에게 선양하려는 할 정도로 왕권은 극도로 추락하여 위태로운 전무후무한 사건이 있었다. 이러한 상황에서, 인종은 불안한 정치적 상황을 타개하기 위하여 훈요십조에서 경계한 ‘지덕(地德)을 훼손시키면 왕권이 위험에 쳐하게 된다’는 예언이 현실에 부딪치게 되었다. 전국토의 산신께 제사지내고, 고려의 개국과 관련한 도선의 풍수사상에서 찾고자 의종이 태자시절 도선국사 탑비를 설립하도록 유훈을 남겼다. 도선국사가 입적한 후 252년이 지났지만, 의종은 최유청에게 도선국사 탑비의 비문을 완성하여 1149년에 탑비를 돌에 새기었다. 그러나 최유청이 대령후 경 모반사건에 연루되어 20여 년간 개경의 국연당에 방치되었다가, 드디어 사후 275년 후에 도선국사의 탑비가 정치적 상황을 타개하고 최유청이 참가한 가운데 늦게 275년 만에 세워졌다. 도선이 풍수를 배우게 된 동기는 옥룡사에 들어가기 전지리산 암자에 있을 때, 꿈속에서 지리산 산신령의 계시를 받고 구례현 인근 사도촌에서 가서 형세를 기초한 물형풍수를 배웠다. 그리고 음양오행의 술법을 공부하여 국토를 물형으로 해석하는 형세론과 음양오행의 술법을 접목한 도선국사의 물형풍수는 한국풍수의 근간이 되었고 도선은 고려를 개국하는데 멘토 역활을 한 실존인물이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The study of Dosun’s Tower(道詵國師 塔碑) wire embedded in the background and establishment with Dosun’s fengshui. The Dosun’s Tower is the only evidence that could have seen the birth and life of Dosun. After the death of affairs leads the inscriptions engraved in stone tower built in only 252 years. And The reasons why the Dosun’s Tower was established in delaying just 275 years background in the temple of Okryongsa(玉龍寺) of Gwangyang. The throne was unprecedented fall in the extremely in the king In-jong(仁宗) of Koryo dynasty. When In-jong(仁宗) grows adults they were trying to remove the Lee-jagyeom(李資謙) to recover the throne. But the race was a failure, Lee-jagyeom to the palace on fire. In-jong would like to give up the throne to transfer to the Lee-jagyeom, so kingship was in an extremely fragile(王權危險).
When the king In-jong(仁宗) was thought to undermine the fengshui in the Hunyosipjo(訓要十條) of King Taejo Wang Geon that the kingship be struck at risk. It is testament of King In-jong to the Uijong(毅宗) was a Prince to establish the Dosun’s Tower to overcome a difficult situation of the throne and to prolong the life of the Goryeo Dynasty, although after 252 years passed since the death of the Dosun. This is the background of reason why Dosun’s Tower(道詵國師 塔碑) established long after the death of Dosun. Dosun started Feng Shui gauge in contact with the departure of spiritual of the Jirisan mountain(智異山) in his dreams(夢). Dosun went to the place that is called Sado area(砂圖村) where he was directed in his dreams(豫知夢). Dosun learned Fengshui how to obey and to cast(山川順逆). The Dosun’s Fengshui is called in the importance of the shape of mountain(物形風水). Dosun learned the fengshui in a river side of Gurye Sado area(求禮 四圖村) where is a lot sands to build and erase shape of mountains. After Dosun learned the fengshui, then he studied the principles of the Yin- Yang and the Five Elements(陰陽五行) with regards to his Fengshui(物形風水). That comes to the basic principles of Dosun’s Fengshui. The discourse of the Dosun’s Fengshui has contributed to the development of Korea’s traditional Fengshui and became a standard of Korea fengshui.
