Observaciones sobre el espanol deformado en Africa : Comparacion entre el papiamento y el espanol ecuatoguineano

This study deals with a general view of Papiamento(Spanish-based creile language with African origin elements) and the Spanish spoken in Ecuatorial Guinea, West Africa.. Papiamento is one of the African creole languages which developed out of the sociohistorical situation of the last centuries and are mainly spoken in Aruba, Bonaire & Curaζao, and the Ecuatorial Guinea's Spanish is not a creole but a deformed Spanish with West African linguistic elements. The purpose of this paper is to introduce some notes and ideas on the social & linguistic developments of these languages. Especially I describe their features connected with a variety of sociohistorical circumstances and their phonological, and morphosyntactical changes from the base lanhuages. The linguistic comparative analysis of these two languages is a result of fieldwork conducted in Ceuta, New York, Aruba & Curaζao in 1985, 1992, 1998, 2002 and based on parts of Birmingham (1971) and Quilis (1992's works).
