「國語文法」對 「말의 소리」의 周時經言語理論 = Ju si-Kyo˘ng's theory on 「Kugo˘-munbo˘p」vs.「mal-??y-sori」

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this paper is fristly to analyze phonological structure, Modern korean syllable structure, and its phonological unit system within the Ju si-kyoˇng model of the theory of phonology which is modelled after the theory of 「kugoˇmunboˇp」 of grammar; and secondly to point out some of the problems in the current linguistic theory of phonology and grammar that have arisen in the analysis of modern korean phonological and grammatical structure.
Chapter1 classifies the purpose, scope, and the general organization of the paper, briefly introducing the fundamental frame work to be adopted in this work.
In chapter 2, '고나kona' (the smallest unit of Ju si-kyoˇng's phonology) constitute the set of basic expressions for the set of phonotactic rules, phonological constituents, and phonotactic rules specify how consituents of the appropriate Modern korean syllable structure may be combined to form well-formed phonological strings. The rules of 'kona' apply as phonemes and strings of phonemes are combined to form larger expressions.
In chapter 3, some problems of 「kugoˇ-munboˇp」 grammatical system are pointed out in accounting for morphological convention and syntactic structure within the frame work of Ju si-kyoˇng. In addition, some appropriate text linguistical descriptions are specified.
In chapter 4, conclusive ideas of '늣씨 nis-ssi' (the smallest unit of grammar of Ju si-kyoˇng) is re-examed which was claimed by Kim Min-Su (1977, 1980) in order to point out the untenability of the analysis just as morphomes.
