대학 축구선수와 일반학생의 손가락 비율(2D:4D) 비교 및 체력요인과의 관계 연구 = The Comparison of Finger Length Ratio (2D:4D) between Soccer Players and Students in the University and its Relationship with Physical Strength Factors

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

There has been great amount of studies about the implication of finger length ratio since it was reported that the sex hormone in the fetus makes effects on the biological features of the person including the finger length ratio (2D:4D). However it is hard to find a study with university students as a subject. This study empirically investigated how finger length ratio (2D:4D) differs between soccer players and students in the university and its relationship with physical strength factors in depth. As a result it turned out that 2D:4D ratio of soccer players was the lowest both in the right and left hand. Therefore, it can be concluded that 2D:4D ratio has positive relationship with physical competency. However, there is no specific physical strength feature that shows statistically significant relationship with 2D:4D ratio both in right and left hand.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

태아기의 성 호르몬의 차이가 두 번째 손가락과 네 번째 손가락 길이의 비율을 비롯하여 여러 가지 생리적 특성에 영향을 미칠 수 있다는 연구가 발표된 이후 관련 연구가 많이 진행되어 오고 있다. 그러나 대학생을 대상으로 한 연구는 드물다. 이에 본 연구에서는 우리나라 대학생을 대상으로 축구선수와 일반학생의 손가락 비율 비교 및 체력요인관의 관계를 실증적으로 분석해 보았다. 그 결과 오른손과 왼손 모두에 있어 축구선수들의 2D:4D 비율이 가장 낮았다. 따라서 손가락 길이 비율이 운동능력과 관계가 있음을 확인 할 수 있었다. 그러나 오른손과 왼손 모두 2D:4D 비율과 통계적으로 유의한 상관관계를 보이는 체력요인은 없는 것으로 나타났다.
