This study aims to identify the difficulties elementary school KSL learners face in the learning situation of major subjects. To this end, difficulties experienced by KSL learners participating in curriculum classes in general classes were derived, and textbooks and previously developed Korean textbooks were reviewed. As a result of conducting a focus group interview (F.G.I) with five elementary school teachers who guided KSL learners, it was found that they had various difficulties in terms of teaching and learning content, method, and educational context variables in the classroom. In addition, textbooks for mathematics, science, and social studies were reviewed in terms of the usability of KSL learners, and elements that can be used in textbooks for curriculum education were explored in standard Korean textbooks developed by the National Institute of Korean Language. Through this, educational implications were proposed to lay the foundation for learning necessary for KSL learners to live independently as a member of Korean society.
