      The purpose of this study is to explore the development of Hanbok Culture Experiential Education for Elementary Pre-service Teachers, with a focus on integrating Generative AI into EdTech-based instruction. As a traditional Korean garment, the Hanbok plays a crucial role in fostering national identity and cultural pride; however, its marginalization in the current curriculum necessitates new approaches to revitalizing Hanbok education. To address this issue, a hands-on Hanbok Cultural Experiential Education program was developed and implemented, incorporating Generative AI-driven EdTech tools to investigate their educational potential.
      The results of this study indicated that the program effectively encompassed activities such as wearing the Hanbok, practicing traditional etiquette, engaging in Hanbok fashion shows, and creating digital content using Generative AI. This integration of Hanbok Culture Experiential Education with EdTech not only broadened the scope of learning but also provided Elementary Pre-service Teachers with opportunities to visualize, share, and reflect upon their cultural experiences more creatively. Based on these findings, this study suggests that such methods can be employed in both pre-service teacher training and elementary classrooms to enhance students’ cultural understanding and creative expression. Future research is recommended to verify the effectiveness of this approach in real-world settings and explore the broader ethical considerations of utilizing Generative AI in traditional cultural education.
