      As a basic study to analyze what contents on size label about parts is reasonable, the purpose of this survey is to investigate the awareness of body measurements and clothing sizes and the relationship between two factors. The subjects are 795 peopl...

      As a basic study to analyze what contents on size label about parts is reasonable, the purpose of this survey is to investigate the awareness of body measurements and clothing sizes and the relationship between two factors.
      The subjects are 795 people, composed of 451 middle school girls and 314 their mothers in JeonJu.
      The results are as follows:
      (1) The result of the test shows that Height is the most cognitive part of body.
      (2) The result of the test shows that the person think their body is fatter than it is.
      (3) The result of the test shows that those who think that their body shape is average recognize the readymade clothing fits roughly for them.
      (4) The high ratio of responding reveals that they ignore clothing sizes.
      (5) The result of the test reveals that pants are the most cognitive type of clothing on sizes.
      There is almost no relation between the frequencies of responding on body measurements and that on clothing sizes, so the person who have the high cognitivity on body measurements cannot be said to have the high cognitivity on clothing sizes.
