How does China's ideal state theory evaluate Korea's modern politics? First, in order to examine the position of Confucianism in Korean politics, this article divides the relationship between Confucianism and Korean politics into three stages. It is to analyze the meaning of Confucianism in each of the three stages of political morality, political culture, and political virtue. Second, this article clarifies how the status of Confucianism has changed in Korean politics by comparing the characteristics of Confucianism and democratic politics. In particular, the author intends to emphasize moral and political integrationism and pragmatic usabilityism by using important formal features.
