원삼국∼백제 한성기 춘천지역의 문화양상 = Cultural aspects of Chuncheon area during the Proto Three Kingdoms Period and the Baekje Hanseong Period

국문 초록 (Abstract)

춘천지역은 북한강과 소양강이 만나는 충적 대지로 형성되어 있고, 주변이 산지로 둘러싸여 있어 분지 형태를 띠고 있다. 이러한 자연환경으로 인해 예전부터 사람이 살기 좋은 천혜의 자연조건을 가지고 있다. 이에 따라 춘천지역은 구석기 유적부터 근·현대유적까지 다양한 유적이 확인되고 있으며, 오랫동안 인간이 거주해 온 지역이다. 이러한 춘천지역에서는 구석기문화가 나타난 이후 신석기, 청동기문화를 거쳐 소위 예계문화로 분류되는 중도유형문화가 나타난다. 중도유형문화는 철자형과 여자형의 주거지를 가지고 경질무문토기와 타날문토기를 기본으로 하는 문화이다. 중도유형문화는 한강수계를 중심으로 퍼져 중부지역의 중심문화로 성장하고 춘천지역에서도 확인된다. 춘천지역에서 가장 오래된 중도유형문화는 신매리, 근화동 일대에서 확인되고 있다. 이후 한강 하류 송파구 일대에서는 중도유형문화를 기본으로 하는 백제 한성기 문화가 성장하기 시작한다. 조금씩 성장한 백제문화는 3세기대에 이르러 국가단계의 기틀을 마련한 후 기존의 마한으로 분류되던 지역을 흡수·통합하기 시작하는데, 한강수계를 따라 북쪽과 동쪽으로도 영역확장을 하게 된다. 그러던 중 북한강 상류역에 위치한 춘천 및 화천지역에도 3세기대부터 백제계문화가 나타나기 시작하는데, 이러한 백제문화는 춘천지역 중 중도동에 거점 취락을 만들고 기존의 춘천지역에서 중도유형문화를 바탕으로 성장한 기존의 춘천지역 일대 세력과 충돌하게 된다.

The Chuncheon area is formed as an alluvial plain where the Bukhan River and Soyang River meet, and it is surrounded by mountains, giving it a basin shape. Due to this natural environment, it has been blessed with excellent natural conditions for living since ancient times. Culture appeared in the Chuncheon area from the Old Stone Age. Afterwards, through the Neolithic and Bronze Age cultures, the so-called Ye-gye culture or Jungdo-type culture appeared. The Jungdo-type culture is a culture based on hard, untextured pottery and tanal-patterned pottery, with dwellings of the 呂 type and 凸 type. This culture spreads around the Han River system and grows into the central culture of the central region. Baekje culture based on a Jungdo-type culture began to grow in the current Songpa-gu area in the lower Han River area. Baekje culture began to advance after laying the foundation for the national stage, and expanded its territory to the north and east along the Han River system. Meanwhile, Baekje culture began to appear in the Chuncheon area, located upstream of the Bukhan River from the 3rd century and this Baekje culture against the traditional culture that grew based on the Jungdo-type culture in the Chuncheon area.
