DREW, a sketch of whose history I shall present in this number, was born of poor parents, in a solitary cottage in the parish of Austell, England. His mother dying Samuel was yet a child, and his father being compelled to labor much of the time, where could not possibly take a strict oversight of his children, they were almost wholly of that early mental and moral training, worth of which can only be estimated, even in part, by those who have enjoyed it in all richness.
