The purpose of this study is analyzing errors of Chinese learners and proposing the construction methods for teaching materials in Korean vocabulary education. The analysis on learners` errors helps to understand the difficulties that foreigners get during acquiring the language, and enables teachers to realize which part needs special material construction beside course books. In this study, the error patterns are examined by analysing vocabulary errors based on the data about Chinese learners. In accordance with the above, documenting the learners` writings, collecting their error patterns, and sorting them. In section 3, the errors are decided, whose patterns are categorized, and the high frequency error examples are picked up. In section 4, the form on the lexicon centered on the frequency of the collocation words and the teaching material for sentence structure is discussed. This makes learners from China understand the aspects of practical use of Korean words, which would be helpful to Korean teachers by showing the way to form the material available for the word studying, the teaching order for sentence pattern making, and selecting intensive teaching items.
