강인성을 주요 개념으로한 이론 합성의 일례 : focal concept: hardiness = An example of nursing theory development by theory synthesis

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study was conducted to provide the more sophisticated relationships between hardiness and hardiness-related concepts through theory synthesis, one of theory development strategy.
Theory synthesis was based on empirical evidences from published research findings. Literatures for study were collected by Medline search. Criteria for sampling was purposeful sampling limited to research to investigate the effects of hardiness between stress-health relationship, and finally 29 research articles were analyzed.
Theory synthesis processes were follows ;
First, determine the factors related to hardiness concept through literature review, and classified these factors into determinants and results.
Second, collect the representative listing of relational statements pertinent to hardiness.
third, collapse highly similar concepts into more comprehensive summary concepts, and then construct the hypothesized conceptual model by diagrammatically mapping the relationship among summary concepts.
Finally, extract the statements from conceptual model, and specified each concept of statement into empirical indicator to represent the possibility the empirical testing.
