부천의 영아기 문화향유 프로그램을 통해 본 생애주기별 예술기획의 사회적 기능 = A study of the social function of community art programs for infants and their families in Bucheon

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study focuses on the social function of cultural art programs tailored to the life stages of community members. First-time parenthood is one of the most stressful life stages, having strong reported correlations with high rates of infant abuse and mortality and posing serious social problems in our time of very low birth rates and rapid social aging. Thus, this study examined art programs for primiparous families that Bucheon City has implemented since 2016, finding that the families could share positive experiences and gain necessary knowledge by participating in the programs. Art experience also affords them the opportunity to relax without the need to care for their child, and leads them to reflect on their own attitude toward infants. Through cultural art programs appropriate to their life stages, group members can feel greater connection, as well as gain an awareness and understanding of complex issues, empowering them to manage their own difficult situations.
