미국 공통핵심기준의 내용 및교육과정 실행 양상 분석 = A Study on Curriculum Contents and Implementation of Common Core State Standards for English language Arts

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

International comparative studies on curriculum provide meaningful insight to improve our own National Curriculum. Common Core State Standards(CCSS) for English language arts were released on June 2, 2010, with a majority of states adopting the standards. And Full implementation of CCSS systems will occur over several years and in the context of a continuous learning process.
This study purports to explore a practical implementation of Common Core State Standards for English language Arts so that it could lead to better practices in the curriculum field.
The Implementation Phase expands the new text-books, fully aligns instructional resources designed to meet the diverse needs of all teachers and students, and assessments, and effectively integrates these elements across the field.
I could refer to CCSS standards are 1)designed to be robust and relevant to the real world, 2)reflecting the knowledge and skills need for success in college and careers, and also 3)students gain, evaluate, and present complex information, ideas, and evidence 4)specifically through the analysis and production of various forms of media. and I pointed out to complement result-oriented tendency of CCSS, I also emphasize on discipline personality through conscious, careful language use, which can take place as formal presentations as well as informal discussions during student collaboration
